Times Group Invests in Education That Empowers Future Generations

Times Group is proud to recognize a $250,000 commitment made by Hashem Ghadaki & Family in support of the Alma Children’s Education Foundation between 2021 and 2026.

The Alma Children’s Education Foundation is a Canadian registered charity that develops and implements innovative educational programs for Indigenous communities in Peru and Bolivia. By combining play-based and project-based learning with local Indigenous knowledge, language, and culture, Alma helps children develop critical thinking, creativity, analytical reasoning, and social-emotional skills while meeting state educational standards.

Alma’s collaborative approach works alongside local educators to create curriculum that reflects the unique traditions and values of each community, helping preserve cultural identity while expanding educational opportunities for future generations. Since its founding in 2010, the organization has reached hundreds of thousands of students and trained thousands of teachers, creating lasting educational impact across remote communities.

Supporting organizations that invest in education reflects Times Group’s belief that strong communities are built through opportunity, knowledge, and access to meaningful learning experiences. While our work focuses on building places for people to live, we also recognize the importance of supporting initiatives that help individuals and communities thrive for generations to come.

We are honoured to support the Alma Children’s Education Foundation and its mission to empower children through education while celebrating and preserving Indigenous culture.

Supporting organizations that strengthen our communities is an important part of Times Group’s ongoing commitment to building a better future for the people and neighbourhoods we serve.
